More Card Creations

I made this card for my son, Elliott's, 12th birthday.  He was very proud of it and showed it to the friends who came for his birthday treat.

This is the card I have made for my Stepdad's 60th birthday on 1 April.  I am hoping that he will like it as it was the one that took the longest and was the most awkward to get right!  Only time will tell if he does like it or not.

I have made this card for my Mum for Mother's Day on 3 April.  I actually adapted this design from a much bigger "Mother's Day Sampler" which was published in a magazine several years ago.  I really liked how the basket looked, so decided to make it into a card instead.  Mum loves floral designs so thought it was just perfect for her.

My card wallet will be totally empty when I have posted all my Mother's Day cards off and given my Stepdad his card, so I will soon have to put aside my "Lakeside Cottage" design to stitch a few more.  Watch this space .........

Some Of My Card Creations

This is a few of the cards I have created since taking up stitching again.  The top card is for my Step-Mum for Mother's Day, the cottage card is for my Mother-In-Law, again for Mother's Day.  My friend, Sue, received the "ducky" card for her birthday on 20 March and was delighted with it.  My brother, Paul, also loved the red car card, which he received for his 40th birthday on 2 March.  More to come .........

New To Blogging

Hi All,

I am new to blogging so not completely sure what I am doing yet.  I decided to set up this blog after looking at Ruth's and seeing how great her site looks.  I took up cross-stitching again a couple of months ago and thought it would be a good idea to have somewhere to store my cross-stitch creations.  They are wonderful to make, but as most of them get given away as gifts, I soon forget what I have actually made!  Over time I will post all my creations, but plan to take things slowly to begin with.

Update 1 of Lakeside Cottage

I thought I would give you a first update of my current work in progress, Lakeside Cottage.
